About the event
Postpartum is a time of great change. As a mother, your body will undergo incredible transformations after giving birth and it can sometimes feel pretty overwhelming -- especially if you don't understand the changes that are occurring inside your body and how to support healing.
While many women are considered to have physically recovered from birth after six weeks, that doesn’t mean your body has completely healed and is ready to start getting back to "normal" activity and exercise before you were pregnant. After all, it took you nine months to grow your baby, so you can expect it to take at least that long for your body to go back to “normal.”
During the postpartum period, many women will experience pelvic pain, leakage, diastasis, discomfort during intercourse, weak core, hips, and back, and mood swings, and in many cases, if left unaddressed, these issues can carry for months or…
