About Marijke

Marijke den Baas lives in Prague, is a mom of a great sleeper, and a Certified Sleep Consultant. Her mission is to help babies, young children, and fellow parents get a good night's sleep. She takes a holistic approach on sleep coaching and works with gentle sleep methods.

Marijke believes that sleep training should be done with plenty of love and patience and that teaching your child how to sleep can be a positive experience. Some of the results of sleep training with Marijke are falling asleep independently, sleeping through the night, creating a daily pattern, and having an overall happier child.

About the Sleep Workshop

The most important thing to know about baby sleep is that every baby can learn how to sleep! 40% of babies have difficulties to fall asleep and it is very normal that they need some extra help. This is where teaching your child how to sleep helps! The skill of sleeping is not just about 'sleep', there are many more factors that contribute to a good night sleep: the sleep environment, a daily routine, nutrition and much more.

In this workshop we will discuss the importance and benefits of sleep. We will talk about common sleep issues like not being able to fall asleep individually, nightly wake ups, difficulties with naps, finding it hard to create a daily pattern and much more. Finally, we will discuss the role of a sleep coach and how this can help your child and yourself to sleep better.

At the end of the event, there will be plenty of time for questions, some come prepared with any you may have!
